Avon Barrier – Big 5 International Building & Construction Show Dubai

We will be exhibiting at The Big 5 International Building & Construction Show in Dubai on 26-29 November 2017,  in the MEP Services sector, UK Pavilion stand no 1G22, where we will be available to demonstrate our options for physical protection of critical infrastructure and crowded spaces.

The Big 5 is the largest construction event in the Middle East with construction being the biggest market in the GCC with $2.6 trillion worth of projects in the pipeline.

We will be showcasing our range of high security active & static bollards, gates, barriers & road blockers that have been crash-tested to internationally recognised standards including IWA14-1, PAS 68 & ASTM 2656. They are specifically designed to counter terrorist and hostile vehicle attacks such as Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) attack, armed weapon attack or the use of a Vehicle as a Weapon (VAW).

In addition, our vehicle & pedestrian security control systems are compliant with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s HCIS security directives these include approved road blockers, barriers, bollards and turnstiles.

Latest developments include ballistic sliding gates (FB6 & FB7) and our new ATEX & IECEx range of vehicle and pedestrian control, designed for use in environments where there may be an inherent risk of explosion such as oil and gas handling and processing.
